FAQ

How will the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) affect Electra?

RDR the removal of trade commissions - is expected to level the playing field with open ended funds. One of the expected benefits to the investment trust sector of RDR is that investment advisers will have to spend more time considering investment trusts as investments for their clients. It is expected that in the long run this will increase the profile of investment trusts, however we do not expect a significant effect in the short term.
