Labco is Europe’s largest private network of clinical laboratories. Labco has a presence in six European countries with over 350 senior chemists or doctors. Over 250,000 tests are performed per day for 15,000 referring physicians serving ten million patients each year.
With a leading market position in France and Spain, Labco is a major consolidator of the highly fragmented European laboratory sector. Labco is making steady progress on synergies from its recent acquisitions, and continues to consolidate its market driven by changes in European regulation. In the year ended December 2009, revenues were over €430 million, in line with budget. The business remains appropriately geared having successfully renegotiated its banking facilities to ensure additional debt capability for acquisitions in 2010 and 2011.
